Sports Physicals

Requirements

A Sports Physical is required for all athletes. The sports physical is not a substitute for a general physical, which is a more comprehensive health maintenance evaluation.

  • Sports physicals should be completed by the student's primary physician prior to arriving on campus.
  • You must submit documentation of a completed physical from your primary physician to the athletic department.
  • Returning athletes may have their physicals completed by a Weigel Wellness Center provider.

Sickle Cell Trait (SCT)

NCAA now requires that all student athletes be informed about SCT with intense exercise.

Learn more about SCT

Please submit all SCT documentation to Athletics Department and refer to them for further SCT information.
