Primary care services are offered through Weigel Wellness Center via in-house and telehealth appointments. The health center is staffed by nurse practitioners, a physician, and nurses who provide both therapeutic and preventive care, including diagnosis and treatment of illness and injuries. Immunizations, educational counseling, and HIV Testing is also offered at the health center by appointment, free of charge.
Weigel Wellness Center services are available to all current students. Strict confidentiality is maintained in care and treatment. Learn more about your current health and how to maintain wellness by setting up an appointment with one of our educational or clinical staff members.
Our Services Include:
Costs for laboratory tests, and prescriptions are submitted to the student's health insurance. Copays and deductibles are the student's responsibility. The college requires students to carry their own private health insurance.
Health insurance is not required to make an appointment to be seen at Weigel Health Center. Health insurance is needed for any services that are provided outside of Weigel health Center, ie. laboratory tests, prescriptions, referrals, x-rays, or sonograms, mammograms, urgent care, emergency room, etc.
