Sports Physical
A Sports Physical is required. Sports physical should be completed by a students primary physician prior to coming to campus.
You must submit documentation of a completed physical from your primary physician from home to the athletic department. This will include physical documentation, sickle cell information, proof of current tetanus, and any medical clearance for prior injuries.
Returning athletes may have their physicals completed by a Weigel Wellness Center provider.
For any questions please contact athletic department.
The sports physical is not meant to be a substitute for a General Physical, which is a more comprehensive health maintenance evaluation.
If a student is participating in a Buffalo State sport, be sure you have documentation of sickle cell information and current Tetanus vaccine (TD or TDAP), within the last 10 years.
