Narcan Nasal Spray
NARCAN® (naloxone HCl) Nasal Spray is used for the treatment of an opioid emergency or a possible opioid overdose with signs of breathing problems and severe sleepiness or not being able to respond. NARCAN® Nasal Spray is to be given right away and does not take the place of emergency medical care.

Measle Mumps & Rubella
The MMR vaccine is available at Weigel Health Center for those students that have not received it due to medical or religious exemption.
There is no fee for this vaccine.

A Sports Physical is required. Sports physical should be completed by a students primary physician prior to coming to campus. You must submit documentation of a completed physical from your primary physician from home to the athletic department. This will include physical documentation, proof of current tetanus, and any medical clearance for prior injuries.
Returning athletes may have their physicals by a Weigel Wellness Center provider.

Rapid HIV Testing
Weigel offers free confidential Rapid HIV testing for students.
For more information, or to make an Rapid HIV test appointment, call 716.878.6711 . Rapid HIV testing is performed by getting a finger prick blood sample with results provided in 15 minutes. STI facts and information will also be discussed.
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring for Faculty, Staff and Students.
Nearly one in five people has high blood pressure but is unaware. Hypertension increases the risk for heart disease, the leading cause of death in the United States, and stroke, the third leading cause of death in the United States. Take an active role in your health and get your blood pressure checked regularly. Know your numbers!
Weigel Health will do 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.
Students can make an appointment any allotted times (Monday - Thursdays only) during the entire year.
Faculty and Staff can make an appointment Monday through Thursday, during winter and summer break. Faculty and Staff will get a copy of the results to take to their primary physician.
For further information about ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, please call Julie Mondanaro, nurse practitioner from the Weigel Wellness Center, at 716-878-6711. Testing will be scheduled Monday through Thursday only, preferably in the morning. Please short sleeved or wear loose-fitting shirt to the appointment.
Weigel Health Center-Information.
Please submit documentation of immunizations with proof of 2 Measles, 1 Mumps, and 1 Rubella vaccine, or 2 MMR vaccines.
Students are not required to receive the meningococcal vaccine, but they are required to fill out this online Meningitis Response form.
Students not participating in a sport, do NOT need to submit a Physical or Medical Health Records to WHC.
For outside services to be provided you MUST provide Weigel Wellness Center with your Insurance Card.
This will be used for any outside services, such as Lab work, Referrals, Xrays, Emergency Room, etc.
Bring your insurance card into Weigel, OR you can bring a PHOTOCOPY of the front AND back of your insurance card. Your insurance card or the photocopy of your insurance card will be scanned into your chart.
A photocopy of the front and back of your insurance card can be faxed to Weigel Health Center. Please write your banner number on the insurance copy. A copy of the front and back of the card can also be emailed to email@example.com.
