The Buffalo State Community Meet and Greet is an event designed to provide Buffalo State students, faculty, staff, and community members who live or are strongly involved in the surrounding neighborhood (Elmwood, Forest, Grant, and Potomac) with the opportunity to meet one another in a safe and positive environment. The event provides an opportunity to better connect our campus and students with the City of Buffalo, its residents, and fellow neighbors and will feature carnival like games, activities, food, music, and prizes. There will be fun and entertainment for all ages, including families with small children.
Last year, over 200 people participated in this fun event. Community members look forward to meeting the students who commit so much time to doing great things on campus and in the community. Students are encouraged to wear jerseys/letters that represent their school, team, organization, or spirit/pride.This is a fantastic opportunity for students to meet those who live in the neighborhood.
There will be free shuttle transportation provided for those living in the Elmwood, Forest, Grant and Potomac area from 11:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Free parking at Buffalo State lots.
The event will take place rain or shine. Activities will take place under tents.
